We brought a small group of boys to test the water in a new meet (for us) in Providence, RI. The RI Classic has some different events than we are used to in the CIAC, such as the 1500 mile, 3000m, and a variety of field event relays. The results from the meet were posted here:

While some from the team were in RI, athletes were competing at the Jack Long Invitational. This meet has been a great season opener for athletes to get use to the chaos of larger meets. Results from the Jack Long Invitational can be found here:

The boys varsity tied for 1st, but had to take 2nd place to the tie breaker. The JV boys dominated their race and came out on top! The Ocean State Invite at Goddard State Park in Rhode Island has been a great day for us in the last few years. This year, the boys teams swept the W's from each of their classes: Freshmen, JV, and Varsity. Varsity ran the Suffern Invitational at Bear Mountain State Park in New York on Saturday. Boys boys and girls teams took 3rd place overall. The results from the meet can be found at the MileSplitNY website:

Yesterday, HK Boys Outdoor Track won the Shoreline Championships last night, beating rivals Coginchaug 174.5 to 145. The girls took third place with 107 points, behind Old Saybrook and East Hampton. For Carter Murray, Kyle Criscuolo, Seth Freeman, and Tyler Knapp, this earns their THIRD Shoreline Championship of their senior year along with cross country and indoor track. Boys 1st Team All-Shoreline Honors go to Colton Lavoie in Shot Put and the 4x400m relay team of Luke Sodergren, Kyle Criscuolo, Owen Howes, and Dima Mallon. Girls 1st Team All-Shoreline Honors go to Amanda Minervino in Javelin and the 4x800m relay of Emma Anziano, Hailey Cassidy, Julia Callis, and Brianna Minervino.
